Catherine is Head of Innovation at Motability. In her role at Motability she leads on research into transport accessibility, on topics ranging from accessible electric vehicle charging to the UK market for wheelchairs. She also drives forward a number of innovative initiatives, such as a scholarships programme supporting disabled people to study transport design, setting up the National Centre for Accessible Transport and co-sponsoring the world’s first accessible EV charging standard. Catherinepreviously worked at the NSPCC’s Scale-up Unit, and in the Innovation Team at Independent Age, an older person’s charity. A dual UK-US national, she is passionate about making transport accessible and inclusive for all people.
