Will Haynes is a chartered civil engineer with more than 25 years of experience delivering primarily highway improvement projects.  For the past 10 years he has worked for Sustrans, a charity that aims to make it easier for everyone to walk, wheel and cycle, in a range of design and engineering roles. He is currently the infrastructure director and, in this role, has technical oversight of Sustrans’ design and engineering work. This includes producing design guidance, creating and delivering internal and external training, facilitating knowledge sharing and providing technical assurance for projects.
