With industry experience gained as an engineer, business developer and CEO, Keith Mortimer has a mission to apply technologies to help build a sustainable future for traffic and transport. He has worked closely with people in diverse cultures to audit, develop and optimise technology-based transport schemes. As an independent consultant, specific interests include road-usage charging; congestion and emissions management; location-based applications and improved driver services; vehicle detection and compliance. Keith co-founded the national ITS UK RUC Forum, pro-actively chairs and reports on Akabo Media's Road User Charging Conference in Brussels, Belgium and regularly contributes a column to the back page of City Transport & Traffic Innovation Magazine.
