Nicki Guy is representing Sight Loss Councils. These are regional groups led by blind and partially sighted volunteers and funded by Thomas Pocklington Trust. Together, they work with organisations to ensure what they do is accessible and inclusive. Sight Loss Councils prioritise making public transport and streets accessible because blind and partially sighted people have told us these issues matter to them the most. This is so they can travel independently and safely, get to work, attend appointments, visit friends, socialise and live the lives they want to live.
